Hey Howl Pack

I stream a variety of things (gaming, body paint, art, etc.) on Twitch multiple times a week, with stream highlights and all VODs posted on my YouTube Channel.

Is Tati Beauty Textured Neutrals Vol. 1 Worth the Hype?

It’s been a while since I’ve done a full blown review so excuse me if this is a little messy. But I really want to review this palette as I think it’s so stunning, and something I am honestly shocked not to see before. Tati Beauty is a new brand started by Tati Westbrook (GlamLifeGuru) that is both vegan cruelty free. The first palette they have launched, which sold out right away as well as the pre-order is called Textured Neutrals Volume 1. I managed to get it during the pre-order which was a mini restock of the palette, and I have to ask is it worth the hype? I have not seen a single bad review of this palette, so my expectations of the palette going in were pretty high to say the least.

Is it Worth the Hype? NABLA Cosmetics Poison Garden and Secret Palette Review

NABLA a few months ago came to Ulta, meaning the brand’s products are more accessible now in the United States. I had heard good things about the brand but never tried their products since it required international shipping. Initially when the brand launched in Ulta, they sold out on both the Poison Garden and Secret palettes almost immediately. So, I didn’t manage to get these until it was restocked. That time I decided not to skip out as the palettes look gorgeous and something I can totally see myself vibing with on a regular basis.

Is Jeffree Star Cosmetics Alien Palette Worth the Hype?

ree Star Cosmetics while I do not agree with everything Jeffree Star does his packaging and products are pretty memorable. For my birthday, my sister got me the Alien Palette which contains 18 shadows inside of an alien head shaped packaging complete with faux leather and 3D eyes. It includes both metallic and matte formulas for a total of $52. Now being 100% honest, I’m probably going to either take out the 3D eyes or depot the entire palette into an empty one so it’s easier to store in my eyeshadow collection. Similar to what I have done with the Blood Sugar palette. So, today I’m asking if this palette is worth the hype as it has sold out several times since it was initially released.

Is Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer Worth the Hype?

As you know I’ve been in the process of finding a new holy grail primer. And it was requested to give the brand new Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer a try. So I’ve been trying this out a lot with different foundations and then compared it against the Cover FX Gripping + Firming Primer since they have a very similar feel to them for roughly the same price. On most sites, blogs, and videos this product has gotten over four stars out of five for rating by almost every single reviewer. So that made me feel initially when purchasing this primer that it was going to be amazing. Which is why I need to ask is the Milk Makeup Hydro Grip primer worth this hype?

Is COVER FX Gripping + Firming Primer Worth the Hype?

Last week I had a decent reaction to expired primer that I had been using on a very regular basis before hand, but it expired way before it was supposed to but I was near the end of that primer anyways. And honestly, I didn’t think that was the best one in the world but used it as I had it. So post-reaction, I got rid of it and instead picked up the Cover FX Gripping Primer as I have heard nothing but good things and it sold out the first time around. So the second launch of it, I figured I might as well put it to the test to see if it’s worth the hype.

Makeup Battle: Urban Decay Primer Potion in Eden vs Makeup Revolution Cut Crease Canvas Eyeshadow Base in Illustrate

I have been using Urban Decay Primer Potion for AGES as a base for my eyeshadow, which makes my eyeshadow last all day long without any noticeable wear or weird creasing. Recently Makeup Revolution has been killing it with launches to the point where they don’t really seem like dupes anymore. I mean there are still a good amount of products that are recreations but I don’t know what their cut crease eyeshadow base is supposed to be the dupe of. So I thought I would battle out the products to see which one is better or more worth it. As much as I love the primer potion, I’m not made of money so if I can save a buck and get the same result sometimes I will go for it.
