Honestly, I have no idea how to title this post so we're going with art diary. I thought I would share some of my artwork on my blog, I am still getting used to sharing my work with others rather than just saving it to my computer and calling it a day. My sister surprised me for Valentine's Day and got me the BH Cosmetics Zodiac Love Signs Palette, which is a follow up to a palette they released over a year ago. And I loved the original palette, it has 24 eyeshadows (12 baked shimmers and 12 buttery mattes) and one highlighter in the center. The same story for eyeshadow layouts can be said about the Zodiac Love Signs Palette. Same with it's massive size that doesn't make it travel friendly. The Love Signs is supposed to be "a celestial spectrum of sun-kissed hues and cool cosmic shades." When I was growing up one of my favorite things was astrology. In the third grade, I wanted to study the stars and go to the moon. Every night I would go outside and look at the constellations then ask my father a million questions about them. Now while I don't believe certain star positions or moon phases effect people, I will admit there is a correlation that can happen. Like when I worked at a pet hotel, there was a strong relationship to a full moon causing all of the dogs in camp to go crazy. Or just weird behaviors to come out when the moon was full. And while I don't agree with everything my zodiac sign states about me, when combined with my moon sign and rising or sun sign it kind of all just describes me to a tee. I seriously love astrology. When I was in the third grade, I dreamed about studying the stars and going into astrology. My dad gave me a lot of books and things to read about the stars, including going out into the country just to look at them and talk about the different constellations. Ulta has been expanding their inventory with a lot of different brands lately, and one of the newer brands that I've seen hit their store is BH Cosmetics. Which is a drugstore brand based in Los Angeles that I have not seen in any other stores in my area. One of their palettes really interested me as I love astrology, this was the Zodiac palette. This palette includes 25 eyeshadows (12 baked shimmers and 12 buttery mattes), and one highlighter that can also be used as an eyeshadow. The Zodiac Palette is also gluten free which I know for some people is extremely important to consider when purchasing makeup. I wouldn't say this palette is travel friendly due to it's size but you could create a large number of looks out of this palette.…
