Makeup Products I’m Saying Goodbye To, Products I’m Not Going to Repurchase

It’s been over a month since I moved into my new apartment, and during that time I’ve gone through my makeup collection, and there are just some product I’ve come to realize even though I do enjoy them they are basically always just collecting dust. Or I have held onto them, but don’t actually enjoy the products. A lot of these are ColourPop products, but it’s not so much limited to those products but that style of product.

ColourPop Jelly Much Shadows

Don’t get me wrong, I loved these shadows. They are great for a quick and easy makeup look. But I forget about them all of the time, so they dry out before I get the chance to finish them. There are a few I still have that haven’t dried out that I’m going to try to finish using up, but in reality I know they’ll just dry out as well. So, even if ColourPop launches more I will not be repurchasing. Plus they take up a lot of place to store as compared to a regular eyeshadow palette.

Cover FX Gripping + Firming Primer

I have given this many tries but it’s just not something that I’m into. I just haven’t found a single primer that I think actually does enough to justify spending money on them. Often, I end up just wearing foundation by itself.

ColourPop Supernova Shadows

While I loved using these as a base for metallic shades or her glitter liner, I don’t use these often enough to justify having so many. I will be keeping a few until they run out, but I won’t be repurchasing these going forward.

ColourPop BFF Mascara

Don’t get me wrong I love the formula of this mascara, but when I purchased these I had plans that I was going to do more Avant Garde makeup looks that would use these products. But the reality is, I don’t. And if I’m going to do my lashes, I’m using black mascara and black lashes. So, I’m saying goodbye to all of the colorful mascara from ColourPop. I am going to keep the brown mascara for now since on ocassion I do reach for it. But the rest I don’t so it’s time to say goodbye.

Pressed or Loose Glitter Shadows

I’m not a glitter person, so I have no idea why I got a bunch of pressed glitter or loose glitter shadows. I hate how they get all over the place and are almost impossible to remove. So, I’m parting ways with all of my individual glitter shadows and pots.

Makeup Revolution Cut Crease Shadow Primer

I just don’t reach for this product. It sits in my makeup storage for ages until I think about during a cut crease, and even then half the time I end up just using whatever concealer I was using that day. So, I never get around to using this primer. And for the majority of the days I’m applying eyeshadow, I use the Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer in Eden as my base not this one from Makeup Revolution.
