Ruby Dixon has a lot of books released and a good majority of them are connected. Some of those characters do make appearances in the rest of the universe. Undoubtedly, the Rubyverse will continue to expand with the addition of new spin-off series. But as of December 2025, here is how the books connect as far as the timeline goes. I have tried to keep this updated with every new release, but sometimes it takes a moment. Not to mention, this is extremely complicated due to how interconnected all the series are, so I’m going to include the flow chart that Ruby Dixon posted on her website and I’ll also try to write it out as well.
Flow Chart Verison
The chart does not include Fireblood Dragons, a series that technically takes place around or before Mari’s Mistake. That series takes place in this universe but has no crossover characters. The series explores what happens to the remaining humans after the dragons destroy Earth. However, as it’s a planet no one will ever visit again, they find themselves entirely cut off from the events that unfold from that moment onward.
Additionally, the flow chart is difficult to understand as it requires a significant number of arrows to connect the Corsairs to Icehome. Mathiras happens directly before Flor’s Fiasco and after Daisy’s Decision. Corsairs: Mathiras rescues the clones left on Not-Hoth during Flor’s Fiasco.
The graphic hasn’t been updated since the end of November 2022, so there are missing books, but the text version is up to date.
