I have loved playing vampires in the Sims ever since The Sims 2. And you can be assured I am going to make at least one sim in my Let’s Play a vampire on our YouTube Channel. And I love that they are releasing this expansion pack. It would have been nice if they included some of the other supernatural creatures from The Sims 3, but I’m good with just vampires. They were the species I generally ended up going with anyways as they can live forever!
The vampires in The Sims 4 will have their own special Vampire motives and needs, focused around gaining enough Plasma, Powers, and sleep. Which is similar to the previous versions we were introduced to. But there are going to be some new powers that we haven’t seen before, like bat form and more. Like the aliens in The Sims 4, they will have two forms: a regular human form and a dark vampire form. They also get their own walk style and can’t go into the daylight just like all the versions before. As I have not explored this pack prior to writing this post as the game comes out on January 24, 2017, I do not know what will be fully in the pack. I’m only going off of what I’ve learned from the official announcement.
Just like in the previous games, vampire children can be born but they do not gain their powers until they are teenagers. And you won’t learn if they are a vampire until they become one. Sims will also be able to live in the Forgotten Hollow, but unlike the other worlds in The Sims 4 this one is always night time so it’s perfect for vampires. There are five lots centered around a plaza dedicated to the founding vampire. Vampires can live this neighborhood but it will apparently be more rare.

Are you going to be getting this game pack when it is released tomorrow or are you going to pass on it?
