The Apartment Diaries: Start of my Sanctuary (AKA the Bedroom)

My bedroom is one space that I wanted to be a mixture of relaxing and have tons of my personality everywhere from the artwork to little pop culture references. Excuse the not made bed, Pixie likes to unmake it. And I’m not embarrassed that my room isn’t perfect. I really like how it looks so far. I still have some stuff in here to unpack or get rid of but I thought I would show the start of turning my room into a sanctuary.

Since my room is way bigger than I’m used to the entry area into my filming/makeup area with my book nook corner. There are some things that I need to get including a chair for at the desk that’s not one of my dining room chairs as it currently is. The chair I want to put here I want to act as both a chair for makeup but also double for my reading nook. Though I’ve reading more out in my living room lately, so I don’t know if I’m actually going to do that.

Anyways that’s where I’m at for the time being, I haven’t shown every aspect of my room just the key areas. But I’m loving it so far, granted knowing me I’ll change it up from time to time. Next up on the dock will be showing the living room and dining room area (also referred to as the common area since it’s an open floor plan). I have a lot more to do in that area, but since I’m doing these more as updates rather than final results I don’t feel so bad about showing these unfinished. Plus, I’m enjoying this series. Hope you are too.

Love ya,

That was the goal of it. Wanted it to be a place to relax after a long day.

That’s always the best, to be able to come home and just relax.
