Breaking Down Hockey Romance Series

I’ve read a lot of hockey romance series in the last two years, so I decided to compile a list of them all. This isn’t going to go over the accuracy of the sport as depicted in the book, but there will be a few different breakdowns of where I rate the books/series based on the level to which hockey played a role in the story, how good/memorable the romance was, and the plot’s quality.

The Read-Cap: Week of April 27, 2024

This week was filled with new releases. And of course, it was all things I really wanted to read so I kind of started reading everything at once. There were just too many choices! So, some things on this list I started but will finish next week or the week after as literally everything came out at the same time. If you are new to the Read-Cap this a weekly post I’m doing where I share what I’ve been reading in the last week and what I plan on reading next. If I finish a book and decide not to do a full post reviewing the book then I’ll just share my general thoughts in one paragraph here.

Reading Guide for the Ruby Dixon Universe

Ruby Dixon has a lot of books released and a good majority of them are connected. Some of those characters do make appearances in the rest of the universe. The Rubyverse is always expanding with new spin-off series, so I’m sure it’s going to be more back and forth. But as of April 2024 here is how the books connect as far as the timeline goes. I have tried to keep this updated with every new release, but sometimes it takes a moment. Not to mention, this is extremely complicated due to how interconnected all the series are, so I’m going to include the flow chart that Ruby Dixon posted on her website and I’ll also try to write it out as well.
